Sam Strong is a University of Connecticut graduate with 16 years of hospital pharmacy experience; the last 4 have been as the Nuvance Health pharmacy system sterile products coordinator. He is board certified in sterile compounding practice and has completed his MBA with a focus in healthcare from Long Island University. He currently serves on the ASHP Section of Inpatient Care advisory group on Compounding Practice.
His professional focuses include optimizing IV workflow technology and educating new pharmacists and technicians to the rigorous requirements of the cleanroom environment.
