About me
Sabrina Innes, MHS, PA (ASCP), is a Pathologists’ Assistant at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She completed her undergraduate studies at SUNY Plattsburgh, graduating summa cum laude with a BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry in 2016. She then earned her MHS in Pathologists’ Assistant studies from Duke University in 2018, where she taught first-year PA students. Sabrina began her career at Columbia University Medical Center, where she mentored Quinnipiac PA students and pathology residents. At VBMC, she precepts second-year Quinnipiac students and Touro medical students, teaching specimen grossing and frozen sections. She is a member of the AAPA and ASCP, licensed by the NY Board of Education, has served as chair of the AAPA student committee and leads the Teaching SIG for the AAPA. Sabrina lives in Rosendale, NY, with her husband, James, cat, Zooey, and dog, Mando. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, swimming, and traveling.
