Mary Pearson, MHA, CTRS, CDP is from Staatsburg, NY. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the State University of New York, College at Oneonta, a master’s degree in Recreation Therapy from State University of New York, College at Cortland, and a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Cornell University.
Mary joined Nuvance Health in 2017, as a recreation therapist on the geriatric behavioral health unit. Ms. Pearson now serves as a Practice Manager within the Digestive Health Institute in New York.
Mary enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, gardening, and drinking a great cup of coffee. Mary is grateful to have been part of the second class of Patricia A Tietjen, MD Teaching Academy scholars and to have been encouraged by this cohort to be a better educator.
