About me
Dr. Leslie Andriani is a gynecologic oncologist serving patients at Danbury and Norwalk Hospitals. A proud Connecticut native, she is deeply committed to advancing women's health in her home community.
Leslie earned her Bachelor of Science in Evolutionary Anthropology from Duke University, graduating cum laude. She went on to receive her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, where she was recognized as a Health Justice Scholar and inducted into both the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Societies. During medical school, she helped lead the HOYA Clinic, a student-run free clinic in Washington, D.C., where her passion for women's health began to flourish.
She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York University, serving as chief resident during the COVID-19 pandemic and receiving the Robert F. Porges Honor Resident Award. Inspired by her patients, Leslie then pursued fellowship training in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania, where her research focused on improving the cancer care experience through innovations in telehealth and digital communication.
In 2023, Leslie joined the Nuvance/Northwell Health team, where she continues to lead clinical research and medical education. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Vermont and serves as Associate Residency Program Director for the Danbury Hospital OB/GYN Residency Program. She currently leads a national clinical trial for patients with recurrent ovarian and uterine cancers and was recognized by the GOG Foundation as one of 35 promising early-career investigators in gynecologic oncology nationwide.
Outside of her clinical work, Leslie is a proud mother to Penny and Grayson. She enjoys running (is training for the NYC Marathon!), skiing, and spending quality time with her family.
