About me
Dr. Jeanne Morgante, EdD, DPT, PT, MTC received her degree in Physical Therapy from New York University. She went on to receive her Doctorate with a specialization in Manual Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Just last spring she completed her Educational Doctorate Program and dissertation, Enhancing Clinical Leadership Skills: Impact of Rehabilitation Professionals' Leadership Development.
With more than 40 years of experience, Dr. Morgante’s education and training provide unique insight into the specialized rehabilitative needs of orthopedic outpatient patients of all ages.
As an Inaugural PATMDTA Scholar of the Clinician Educator 2021–2022 Cohort, she developed her scholarly abstract on Leadership Skills for Rehabilitation Professionals to understand the level of leadership training, resource exposure, and future leadership involvement amongst the Clinical Rehabilitation Professionals.
As a Continuing Scholar of the Academy, she led a micro–workshop on the Power of You: Building Leadership Value for the Workplace, at the 4th Annual Grand Rounds and Academic Symposium last June.
Dr. Morgante continues to advance the mission of the Patricia A. Tietjen, MD Teaching Academy by championing humanistic care grounded in empathy, reflection, and meaningful connection.
