About me
Danielle is a Nursing Professional Development Specialist and Medical-Surgical Nurse Educator for Danbury and New Milford Hospitals in Connecticut. She has been a practicing nurse since 2015, with extensive clinical experience in emergency and float nursing.
Danielle holds a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with a minor in Forensics from Monmouth University, an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Saint Joseph, and a Master of Science in Nursing Education with a concentration in Forensics from Duquesne University. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in Clinical Leadership at Quinnipiac University.
She maintains five national board certifications, including Certified Emergency Nurse, Trauma Certified Registered Nurse, Stroke Certified Registered Nurse, Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner–Adult/Adolescent, and Nursing Professional Development–Board Certified. Danielle is also a Connecticut Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner and serves as a SAFE Instructor for the Connecticut OVS Gail Burns SAFE Program.
In addition to her clinical and educational roles, Danielle has conducted and published research on emergency department education related to human trafficking and intimate partner violence, which has appeared in the Journal of Forensic Nursing. Her work reflects a strong commitment to trauma-informed, evidence-based practice.
